Today I will be posting about the Caspian Tern. I have invested so much time watching and photographing this bird; therefore, why not share more photos?
Note the fishing sequence of the Caspian Tern. I don't have a photo, but after the fish is swallowed, he comes back to the water looking like he's trying to catch a fish, but this time to clean its beak. He slides the beak across the water, then, while lifting up, turns or shakes his head off—almost 180 degrees. ~ Anna
