Flying over the Alps

Whoever said you could not take photos from the plane?

Yes, someone did say that to me one day when I still had my film SLR, but I did not listen; I just clicked and clicked. I find it very fascinating and exciting to watch the land from a bird's-eye view. Although not very good for my neck when stuck to the window for a few hours.

When there is a clear blue sky, the view can be so powerful, not just looking down at the land. The Earth is the most beautiful and naturally made sculpture—mountains, rivers, valleys, snow, trees, and many more—that add character to our planet.

The following picture of the Alps was taken from an airplane during a flight from Frankfurt to Milan, Italy. The left wing, mountain peaks, clouds, and glare of the sun made this photo an almost perfect composition.
