Moon Photography: Aug 20, 2007 Almost Half Moon Over Aurora

Some of us bloggers are counting down the days to the lunar eclipse. In the meantime, since we got a clear sky here in Aurora, Ontario, Canada (some small clouds), here are some shots of today's moon. I'm not sure, but the moons below look like half moons to me.

Hey Anna, I'm so proud of you, keep up the great work, excellent pics. It's been raining for the last 3 days solidly, hope it breaks by the 28th!

Thanks Bob. Unfortunately I had to sharpen them a bit, there were some very transparent clouds, but still there and that made photos more blurry. Sorry about the rain, this is something we may get today. I think I have to blame on the hurricane Dean. I hope too that there will be no clouds on 28th, but then this is hurricane season, and from past experience never know.

I love your moon pictures after seeing the last ones, specially the one though the leaves.

I have a great love of the moon (maybe because it's far more mystical than the sun)and your pictures really do it justice, thankyou.

Yep certianly is a half moon :)
