Just Sharing My Little Knowledge

I have a feeling that the title of this post caught your attention. Let me share a handy little tip for browsing through blogs.

There are many instances where links open in the same window, causing the original blog to get lost. However, I have a straightforward solution for you. Simply Right Click on the desired link and select either "Open in a new Tab" or "Open in a new Window" from the drop-down menu. This option may not be available for all Internet Explorers or Firefox versions, but it works perfectly fine on my IE7.0.

Enjoy!

Hey Anna,

Thanks for sharing. Opening new tabs are standard on Firefox 2.0 onwards and I cannot live without it!

In fact sometimes I open as much as 30 windows. Allowing them to load at their leisure while I read through them :P

Cheers
James

Yes I'm using tabs for years with our safari under Mac.

I think there is a shortcut to open tabs in IE 7.0 like shift+click or alt+click, just try these ones, maybe it helps ;-)
Adorable chipmunk photo!!! You sure capture personalities well. :D

I also do the open new window click and was glad when I discovered it.

Have a super day!!!

Anna do you hypnotize the little guys to get your great shots, love your chipmunk, I've got ie7, but my computer usually blows up after about 20 tabs, so I use firefox, but for some reason firefox won't let me post in html.
You capture the essence of a curious creature such as a squirrel. You photography is absolutely equisite! I'm inspired every time I stop by.

Hi James, thanks for your input, wow 30 windows, I couldn't do that with my IE7 and Norton Internet Security 2007 running in harmony so well that I cannot open anything after while. Thanks for visiting. Anna :)

Hi David, thanks for the short cut tips, I will definitely try. So you are safari user, I looked at mac's one day, but then in my work of line windows seems to be more common so I have to stick to to them lol, anna :)

jj I thought I made such a great discovery lol and I shared with the world, and then I realized how little I know sometimes lol. thanks for your comment, I think it took about 10 shots until he positioned himself like that. I used to mistaken them for birds, anna :)

Bob, no I do not hypnotize them, I chase them around the forest lol, like I chased the woodpecker from tree to tree the same day, good thing my husband was my landmark otherwise I would get lost in the forest because my directional compass is usually very wrong lol. anna :) like always thanks for visiting.

Hey Anna,

Your browser can do it too, just upgrade the memory of your PC to at least 1GB. :)

There was once I opened up more than 50 tabs in myspace and Firefox crashed! :P So I guess there are limits.

In any case, it is a good knowledge gain for you and it is wonderful that you share it with your readers.

I bet there are still some who has never heard of such a feature. So keep up the great sharing :)

Cheers
James

I'm adding you to my "Aesthetic Indulgences" linkage....wonderful collection of pictures you have here =)
What a sweet little chipmunk in the photo! I love your crisp close-ups. They give me "telephoto lens envy". Cindy at Rosehaven Cottage
