Red Dragon Fly

I am still around :). I guess this is the advantage of having photo blog, you can just post a photo.

Nice photo. Yes, some photobloggers actually go to the extreme of photo-only blogging. Not a word to be found...:D
Going to upload some dragonfly photos later.

Hi Anna,

nice you are back - missed you! :-)

This is a gorgeous dragon fly! I never have seen a red one.
Anna,

A great photo. We had so many dragon flies last year that they looked like a flock of small birds. :D

Hugs, JJ

A dream shot. A Dragon Fly might be the most elusive subject in the world!:) I can't wait to start back using my 400mm, maybe I'll get a few of these. Very nice.

Gee your photos are always amazing, I really got to get out more and practice, I just recently read a quote somewhere, can't remeber where or by who but it was somewhere along the lines of "your first 10,000 photos are always your worst" if that's the case I have a long way to go.

Great seeing cool photos makes me want to strive.

Hi Anna;

Interesting image…the dragonfly is interesting but for me its landing pad steals the show.
I love dragonflies! I used to live in a place where there were lot of real nice ones, but rarely did I see a red one. Thanks for this pic! :-)
Hi Anna dear always nice to visit your blog whether you blog or not there is something that brings me back each time... I know its love.

Nice one Anna. I have been in posting a photo mode since last week's Wednesday ABC - I think it was too depressing.
Nice to see a happy dragon fly shot

BoydGreeneArt once I put my 100-400mm lense, it is so hard to take it off. I think I need second camera to use my other lenses. The issue is the dust on the sensor, which I get a lot even not changing lenses. Anna :)

Hi Rand, no need to take that many photos. Sometimes out of 20 photos or even 50 photos I find this one good one. Good luck with your photography, you will like it. BTW thanks for visiting and commenting. Anna :)

livingsword, thank you for your comment. I have to agree with you, the dry grass top did set the setting for the dragon fly. Thanks for visiting and commenting. Anna :)

Bearbrick Lover, thank you for your comment. This was for me a first time too, but then I kept seeing them everywhere, may be they come out certain times, because where I saw them it was between two provinces. Thanks for visiting and commenting. Anna :)
