I am not sure how much I can write about this photo, but I will leave it to your imagination what this one is thinking because I am going to sleep with a big smile on my face.
I remember that last year I took more deer photos at the Toronto Zoo, and I found this one among many. When I do a little research, I will let you know the type. I think this guy is different from the previous ones; the ears are definitely bigger, and there are white stripes on the body. Also, notice the stripe right across the nose bridge. ~ Anna

I laughed so hard at the face of that deer at its tongue! Normally that would be a good thing but I popped my shoulder playing hockey on Sunday and even though it did not come out entirely and I was able to keep playing, the pain now is intense. Even with taking Lortab, something I have never had to do before, laughing is intensely uncomfortable.
Please Anna - No more funny pictures for a day or two!

What a beautiful deer! Yes, he has huge ears, but he is so cool.
Looking at him I'd say that he's the guardian of his family. He has those big ears cause he has to hear the danger approaching...(well, you did say to let our imagination run...).
Cheers
Sorry about your shoulder Will. That kinda pain really sucks man. The cartilage in my shoulder is deteriorating and it gets worse and worse every year so I'll probably be in great shape in about 5 more years. Unable to lift my arms and such. By then maybe they'll let me get a cortisone shot. But for now they say I am too young.
Really? There was a smaller deer around? Hum...you may be right: I might have another talent lol :).
Cheers
Great image! What an absolutely incredible animal!

I will save you the research that is a Kudu cow.
I once had one for a pet and did a post not too long ago. If you are interested it is at http://themaxefiles.blogspot.com/search/label/kudu
PS The Email follow-up comments recently introduced are working wonderfully for me. I noticed that because of that I get responses a lot more faster, but then I am very slow to respond, lol. Must be getting old, or just too too many things to do, and not enough time.
