This is not the biggest Moon of 2009; however, it is only smaller by a few days and a bit eaten by the shadow. The weather did not cooperate this time, and I was very prepared for this moment.
But then, I look at this Moon today, and I see pomegranate. Now tell me, do I sound like I don't get out much these days? If you think yes, then you are absolutely right. This is how much I do get out: I took this picture from my office room about an hour ago, and to my surprise, it turned out to be perfect (to my standard), plus it looks like my favourite fruit. In addition, I snapped a few pictures of the lamps from across the street. Now, do you think I still need to get outside to get good results?
So what's on my plate for 2009? Well, I was going to tell you, but maybe I will surprise you. No, I am not going anywhere. Just minor changes to my blog layout and posts—general housekeeping. It's good to make a change just to get the energy going.
Lastly, a while ago, I wrote this a Story Blob blog post about children being killed during the war. Some of you read it, but I will re-link it again. It's just that the whole thing about Gaza attacks bothers me a lot. It is a complicated situation, but this needs to stop, and I feel helpless. I feel for the children, and I feel for the mothers who see their children die. It is a bit ironic that, without even thinking about it, I included dark pictures with this post, but there is always light and hope. I guess art can express emotions and feelings.

LOL I think you would get good results even if you wouldn't get out ever again: it is in your veins! However, I can't wait for Spring time...that way you and Matthew will be able to go out and take even greater photos :D!

Yes, I have read your post and I have commented it already...What is happening is sad, no doubt, but the Gaza population were the ones choosing their present situation by voting in the wrong terrorist organisation such as Hamas (those guys use women and children as human shields; it is as simple and tragic as that).

It may not be the worst thing a human can do to another fellow human (I can think of one thing or two that can be worst)...but it shows a total lack of respect for life itself, and in this case an utter lack of respect for those who voted for them (thus depositing in them their trust that they'd improve their life and develop their country) *nodding*.
