Welcome to my 'A Bit of Knowledge' session blog post. The inspiration came from you. Yes, you bloggers. Some of you made changes to your blogs; some of you applied something new and interesting to your blogs; and some of you just wrote something that inspired me. A while ago, I received this award from Roger from Idaho Photo, and it was an ear award. No, it wasn't just a plain ear; it was the Van Gogh's Ear Award. How can an ear inspire someone? Well, I don't know, but it did it to me. The story was cool, the idea was amazing, and the fact that I received an ear—that was just fantastic.
Thank you, Roger. No rocket science here. To remodel my Blogger blog, I used a template from Our Blogger Templates: The Professional Template. The nice thing about this template is that very few changes to the XML code are required. I really don't like to fool around with code that much. All the presets are in Blogger under Layouts > Fonts and Colour. There is a lot of moving around, and big decisions need to be made. I suggested that you take breaks in between to absorb the changes you made and see if you like them. Note that there is one flaw with this template. For some reason, the Embedded below post setting does not work. On the other hand, thanks to Peter from St Vincent's Hospital Darlinghurst (male nurses) for helping.
Thank you Peter!

I find Blogger/Blogspot to be the easiest platform cause of the Layouts/fonts and colors feature
you tip on stepping back to take in the changes sounds like a good idea

I still wasn't aware that Blogger published any templates with three columms. Didn't you have to modify your code to get three?
Happy trails.
No this specific template did not require any code modification just the one provided by Peter, but that was nothing, but it required some modifications to the Colors and Fonts. Let me know if you interested, may be I can help.
The first thing is to create test blog and test your templates like that.
Anna :)
Congrats for your "ear" award :D!
And thank you so much for the link to the "Our Blogger Templates" - you are a peach :D!
Cheerio
And it's a great place for labels! And for pix of Matthew, of course!
I'm glad Peter helped you out with the glitch!
You'd better get your sleep, Lady! :)
As for that ear, it's quite a conversation piece!
BTW Matthew waves hello!
It seems babies love it when they first learn to wave hello and goodbye. :)
I went to the link you provided, and finally I found the template of my dreams!! They don't have in black, though...so I will have to change the colour codes (it will give me a lot of work)!
Once again, thanks! :D
"Max no problem, you are peach too, lol. Never heard of that expression before, lol, sounds cute!"
Thanks lol :D! You never heard it? So this means you don't listen to Prince, eh? lol
I will try that, girl: thanks! :D
I want to see if I change the template over the weekend (less traffic)...there is one feature on the new template that I will need to use soon! :)
"Blog responbibly and leave a comment" LOL this was a great one!
"Thanks Max! Glad you liked my greeting in the comments."
You are most welcome, dear! LOL I didn't like it...I LOVED it!!
"Your blog is looking great, glad I could help and give you something for all your generosity. Thanks again my friend."
Thanks, darling :D! Awww, you are amazing...you did help me, and now I owe you one :D! Any time, girl :D!
Take Care,
Peter
In blogger settings, go to "Comments". In this section look down to the Comment form placement title. Have you selected "embedded below post"?

Hey the place is looking goooood!
I find it interesting that you did not choose to expand the article column….
I like the changes and love the bird-Moon image near the bottom, fantastic!
Yes I was thinking about expending the articles, but I was so exhausted that I gave up - I couldn't look at it anymore - the perfectionists me, sometimes never satisfied, lol, even when others are. Oh well may be next time.
So you like my moon and bird composition. It was fun editing. I miss those days when I had more time to play with photoshop, however, they are coming soon.
Thanks LS again!
Anna :)
