It is not just the dancing, colourful leaves that make autumn so interesting. It is a season full of spiders, mushrooms, butterflies, and fungi. There are thousands of subjects to photograph.
I am so pleased that many of you still visit me despite my lack of posting. Every day I tell myself I will go for a posting marathon, but then when the night comes, all I can think of is sleep. I did not give up on photography. I carry my camera with me most of the time, sometimes two and sometimes all three of them (one is just a point-and-shoot).
For a low price of just under 200 dollars Canadian, I was able to fix my Canon 20D. They never claimed that it was the number of shutters; all it was was that it needed a major overhaul and probably was shorting somewhere. I am missing probably one more important lens, the macro lens, and I will be set for many years. Suggestions are welcome.
No, I wasn't that lucky to photograph the falling leaf. It is very easy to spot hanging leaves on the spider webs during the fall season. Since the web is nearly invisible, one can be fooled, and I am not suspending my blog. I may take a break, but I will always be back.
My Matthew continues to grow. We wander around the town streets and parks, and we are regular visitors to our local library. My parents borrowed my small point-and-shoot camera for their trip to Poland, which was also used at home by Matthew. So now he is getting his hands on my DSLR. He likes the zooming effect when looking through the viewfinder. He is almost 3 1/2 years old.
The photo was taken at Thronton Bales Conservation Area in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada.

Good to see you, and to hear that all is well. Glad you are still enjoying your cameras - me too.
Matthew is growing quickly - sounds like he has your love for the photos!
Take care my friend,
Kathy
The picture is very nice indeed.
About my post, those blue shapes are the Alps. There isn't any photo effect, in the evening often there is a sort of blue atmosphere in Turin, especially in autumn.
Have a pleasat Friday!
full of magic to discover
love your suspended leaf.
This is quite attractive - suspended in space.
About the lens. If you can afford it, you should read about the lens I got. It does most everything I need done 18-270mm Tamron. You can get very close without using the zoom. I like that.
You took a really nice shot from this leaf.
Take Care,
Peter
Me alegra saber de ti y comprendo tu situación por la que no publicas tan a menudo. Un gran abrazo Anna.
I'm glad you got your camera fixed! Maybe you can buy a broken one for Matthew to play with. ;-)
Good one and keep posting :-)
What a spectacular photo! Your craft is getting better and better - do you know what this leaf reminded me of? Milan Kundera's "The Unsustainable Levity of Being"...when for some reason life, as we know it, gets suspended so that other aspects of life can occur.
My dear friend (and you are an amazing friend), to me you are always present :).
Big hug to Matthew and to you!
Cheers
I am glad you didn’t give up on photography, and that Mathew is growing well.
This photo with hanging leaf on the spider web is stunning.
I too am not as regular blogger as I used to be. I am fine, thanks for asking, it’s just the time; it flies by and I simply cannot catch up with it. I became a mother in law. My older son was married in June this year. I already posted some photos about it.

Nice to see you :)
Thanks for stopping by the other day. It's always so nice to hear from you. My little boy is great, thank you. He's 9 months already! Where does the time go?! I hope you and you're family are well. Looking forward to more of your lovely pictures.
je te souhaite une bonne année
