I thought I would play a small memory game with you. I looked back into some archives, and I thought I would re-post this image of the Mourning dove sitting on my BBQ. This is actually a variation of the one I posted back on December 17, 2007. I checked who commented back, and it is kind of hard to believe that a lot of you are still around and visiting my blog, never mind that it's been more than three years. My blogging isn't as active as before, but I am not planning to stop. There is always something unexpected, and hopefully there will be none.
Everything is fine here; the winter is coming; flu, colds, Christmas shopping—everything is piling up. But overall, life is good, and if you want to hear the latest and greatest about Matthew, have fun reading Kids Say the Darndest Things - No Bath Time Please [Story Blob].

Take Care,

Years ago there was a program on television titled "Kids say the darndest things." It was hosted by a dear old fellow named Art Linkletter. You probably heard of him, you may have even watched his show. I don't know, you are so young. But those kids he had on his show really did say some really funny things. You've got to love little kids, they are so much fun.
Glad to hear all is well.
Happy trails.
We are having a hard time keeping up with blogging too. It is fun, but work always seems to get in the way for mom.
We are glad we have kept up with each others blogs for so long! :^)

Yes, a lot of people have dropped off in the time I've been blogging, but a lot of us are still here. I'm always a little sad when people disappear along with their blogs.
I wish you good times for the holidays, Anna, and to dodge the colds and flu if possible!
Your photo is still stunning.
My blog is not active as before but I still love blogging. I will continue adding my shots : )
I wish your son, Matthew, would be happy this Christmas.

Your post says you are not as active a blogger as you used to be. Having just discovered your blog, I hope you intend to change your plans and post more often. I love the look of it and all that it promises, just a few clicks away. And I intend to click away!
You will not believe this but my Christmas card this year has Mourning Doves !
I've been sick so I am late visiting blogs... I'm posting but even that wears me out.
stay warm...
cheers, parsnip
3 years? I think I wasn't here back then, but in any case, online acquaintances develop very fast and it is great to have you as a blog friend. As for the picture, the expressions on the bird's face are very vivid, don't you agree? Seems to enjoy the snow. :-)
Greetings from Holland, Joop
thanks for your nice reaction.
