A Simple Beauty Of The Green Season

Spring is finally here and is acting more like summer. There is so much green and so many different flowers are blooming, not to mention the beautiful scents we can only remember. I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful spring season as much as I am.
On the other hand, I would like to thank everyone for the beautiful and warm wishes from all of you for Matthew's second birthday. It will be a beautiful keepsake in later years. Thank you.

Hey Anna,

Beautiful! I love the green "impressionism" in the back!

I am enjoying pre-summer as much as I can (boy, I love this season) :D!

Have a merry weekend, darling!

Hi Anna - Like Joan said that is simple and lovely. This is one of the best examples I have seen showing that great photography is usually about seeing the everyday with a unique eye.

We have had a very cool, wet spring here so everything is very green, bit I am sure we will soon go right into our hot summer. My vegetable garden is way behind as many seeds just rotted in the ground instead of sprouting and had to be re-planted. Hopefully things will catch up, but probably no tomatoes by July 1st this year.
That is a beautiful serene shot.
We are having a lot of heat here in TX, hotter than normal. Lots of green though and we like that.
Happy Memorial Day!

Anna:

Spring is wonderfully alive and vibrant and green, and you illustrated your point so well with that green picture of that one lonely plant. It looks like wheat.

I see a lot of photographs on the web, there all over the place, and I've always thought that you are one of the very few, the very best.

Well done.

Happy trails.

Hi Anna, spring here is acting more like chilly and rainy autumn. I am glad you are enjoying better weather.

Just simple and great.
Hi Anna. I just caught up on your last three posts. Better late than never, I guess. I enjoyed the dandelion post, because I always feel that we appreciate beautiful things less just because they are abundant, and I admired your beautiful "green" shot, and am happy that Spring has arrived for you. (Here, the last couple of weeks have been quite rainy. Maybe we are paying for the ridiculously easy Winter season:) Most of all, I loved the post to Matthew, and feel like many commenters that he will really enjoy reading it one day. Of course, his musical talent particularly caught my attention, but it was lovely as well to learn about his gentle spirit. I wonder if you have ever read COOPS LIFE You and Jen always remind me of each other, both so completely cherishing motherhood.

We finally got a warm weekend this weekend. It's been so cold here and I live in California. I'm glad to have some summer weather.

Have a terrific day. :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am pretty busy with my job right now. Anyway, I really love this shot especially the color tone of the photograph.

Simply beautiful anna! If we begin to enjoy little things in life, we could realize the importance of life which almost lives in little things.

Hi Anna ... Just letting you know I'm still alive and have been following your blog in my reader. Am done gardening and am now working doing the occasional weddings (big one this fall) and on job photo shoots. I'll have my website up in late fall and will let you know when I do. Until then keep up the great work on your blog! Keep smiling :-)

I swoon at all of the green this time of year. I spend so much time in my garden . . . admiring my flowers, and now photographing them!

You have "distilled" green for us in a very pleasing way.
Beautiful spring photo, Anna!!! We have our pool up and hope to use it earlier this year because of the warmer temps.

How are you, dear? All is well here. I had my last doctor appt and have gotten that surgery behind me. :D

All is well. Hugs to Matthew!

Cheers, JJ
Spring here in western New York has indeed been lush and green. Does it energize you as it does me.

Late hugs for Matthew's second birthday.
