Those were the days... when the only thing that mattered was where the next crunchy leaf was to be found. Thanks for the reminder to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. Also, thanks for visiting and commenting yesterday!
A lovely autumn picture Anna. Can't believe how much Matthew has grown. I'm sure you are really enjoying him now especially showing him things for the first time. A beautiful capture, one to cherish.
That's really nice Anna. Like the hat too! He is growing so fast. Soon he will want a leaf blower to clean up the leaves. When my son was young he could not wait until he was old enough to help with the leaf cleanup. To this day I don't have to ask, he still just gets the blower out and makes huge piles.
It is good to have you back again Anna. Looking after your son is a full time job but it is good to be distracted sometimes with things like the website. he sure is having fun in those leaves.
What a great picture. You certainly have talent. It really looks like a post card, and I see that your little boy is becoming a post card celebrity. LOL.
Ann...you took me back! I can remember myself playing in those leaves...nothing better to hide in them and have the dog hunt for me...when he found me, he scattered the leaves and all the work my dad did was for naught! Great picture.
And you now watch your own son sitting on the carpet of leaves and play with it. This is lovely photo of Mathew, indeed. Every photo of him is precious for you and also for him when he grows up and when he remembers of fallen leaves up to his knees. :-))
Thanks Kathy, and yes he is. I cannot believe that almost one year and a half we brought this little thing home, not so little anymore. Thanks again, Anna :)
Oh Marvin lol never really looked at it like that, but I guess some see differently, and not you said it, lol. Well he manages very well. Thanks for your nice comment. Anna :)
Pearl Maple thank you, and yes it is beautiful season. I just cannot believe how fast the trees lost their leafs here, just in one day. Thanks again, Anna :)
Marka I remember those day. I can see it back now in Matthew. He picks leafs like me, and little twigs there and there, and dry grass. It is just so much fun to watch him. Marka no problem, and thanks for visiting back. Anna :)
Thanks Carol too. You know seems like we all around the world had the same experience with leafs and fall. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for dropping by as always it is nice to see you here. Anna :)
Thanks Peter, no at least not yet, as he tends to eat lot of stuff, lol. His teeth been growing really slow, so I can understand. Thanks Peter for your kind comment as always. Anna :)
Thanks John, yes he did grown a lot, and he is tall for his age. He loves to explore, and it is so much fun to watch him and play with him, he is such a happy little camper. John thanks so much for your kind words. Anna :)
Thanks Will. You know we probably will have the same thing going here. Matthew already cuts the grass with his dad, he pushes the lawn motor for him [of course when it is off for now]. He imitates us a lot, so hopefully when he grows up he can help around. Funny how we like certain things, like your son blowing leafs, where I love shoveling the snow. Thanks again Will. Matthew is picky about hats, so looks like we will have to stick with this one, lol. Anna :)
Thanks Joan, yes it is sometimes good to take a break. But the only break right now is when he sleeps, lol. He is so attached to me now, that at times when he knows I am going to leave, he will close the door, or hold my hand very strong, or hang on to my leg, lol. Well I guess this is the age. Thanks again for dropping by. Anna :)
Thanks holdingmoments. You are so right, the essence of childhood. I think the world should stop making toys, and have children enjoy more of nature. Anna :)
Thanks Swubird and I am glad you enjoyed the postcard moment. You can tell I take Matthew everywhere, even to my blog, lol. Thanks Swubird, nice to see you here again. Anna :)
Thanks Roger, and thanks for head up, may be I should develop this one to give out. Thanks again for the Eureka, lol, and of course your kind comment. Anna :)
Yes birdy every season does have its own beauty, too bad that in the spring I cannot let him to sit in the water paddles, lol. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one birdy. Anna :)
Hey Dan, glad that I was able to take you back in time. Yes those leafs were fun to me too, and sometimes we did get big piles formed by the wind. Thanks again for sharing your memories with me, Anna :)
Thanks George. Yes it is in fact. Matthew is now into running deep into leafs and kicking them up to the air. It is so much fun to watch him. George thanks again for visiting and commenting. Anna :)
TatianaV thanks so much for your kind comment and wishes. Yes we do things for Halloween. Actually Matthew did go out, and it was so much fun watching him going from door to door, trying to knock at the door, and having fun with some displays outside. Then he was giving out candies, greeting visitors and saying good beys, lol. He did so well this year. Anna :)
Medam it was almost like looking down at myself. It is so precious time, and I am sure he will enjoy those memories from my photos one day. Thanks again for your kind comment Medam, Anna :)

Beautiful composition, though. Wonderful detail, lovely colour, and I like the blurry vignetting.
