God Made Dads
'God took the strength of a mountainThe majesty of a tree
The warmth of a summer sun
The calm of a quiet sea
The generous soul of nature
The comforting arm of night
The wisdom of the ages
The power of the eagle's flight
The joy of a morning in spring
The faith of a mustard seed
The patience of eternity
The depth of a family need
Then God combined these qualities
When there was nothing more to add
He knew His masterpiece was complete
And so
He called it ... Dad'

A beautiful poem. Thank you for the father's day greeting, and the same to your family.
Happy trails.
We love the photo...and were admiring some of your bird pics (CG loves ‘em and so do I)
It seems to me that the quote best suits anthropomorphic descriptions of God...human fathers (even the best) falter at too many points of this list (Abraham for example was a disaster as a father)...however Happy Father’s Day to the fathers out there!
Take Care,
Peter

Thanks for dropping by.

Hope things are going well ... I've decided to get off my a$$ and start submitting my work (like you suggested I do several times)instead of maintaining a blog. I will however always pop in to read my favorite blog in blog world :-)
Take care.

it's a pretty tulip shot and a wonderful poem!
Finally I have some time to visit other blogs, also yours.
Have a good time, Anna!

Sorry for the late visit, but we have had a lot going on still, lots of stress for my mom.
The tulip photo is gorgeous. Hope your husband had a wonderful Father's Day with Matthew!
