Dear Santa:
This is my first letter to you. I know I could do that using Canada Post's service, but I think I am late. So I thought that it would be easier and faster to write a blog post. Well, I want to tell you that this year I already got the Christmas gift I wished for. You are looking at it—it is my baby Matthew. Tell me the truth, isn't he adorable?
Well, next time you drop by my chimney, please be very quiet. Matthew already got scared by Rudolph the Reindeer, who sang like there was no tomorrow, when we pressed the play button. Now, when he sees him, he beats him with his little hands, and we don't want this to happen to you, Dear Santa.
Dear Santa, I hope you are doing well. I know the economy is slowing down, but I have full trust in you and your helpers. I am sure that you will make all the children around the world very happy.
Sincerely,
Anna
PS: Hey, Santa, if you're in the toy factory, ask one of your toy designers to fix something for me. I really would like to see the 'STOP PLAYING' button on all the signing toys; it isn't that easy to listen to the same thing over and over again and not be able to stop it. Dear Blogger Friends:
I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I also want to thank you all for your kind comments all year. It's hard to believe, but this is my second Christmas in the blogger world.
In summary, it's been a tough year for me to photograph and blog at the same time. The arrival of my baby Matthew in late spring changed everything. He is growing so fast, and the next Christmas he may even walk and talk or even blog with me. He is the best Christmas gift I have ever received.
Dear friends, your contributions, visits, support, kind words, and everything else are greatly appreciated. All the best in the upcoming blogging year 2009.
Sincerely,
Anna

Thank you very much for your Christmas wishes over at my blog. :)
You have a great wish this year - to give away to the ones who needs it.
I always tell my younger brother that I text Santa his wishing list... Doesn't work too well as he is 10 yrs old now, lol.
This is for Santa: please could you manange to drop off a years supply of batteries with the toys you deliver and ear plugs. That way we can afford to eat and not go deaf before our time!
Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Take Care,
Peter

Blessings to you on this first Christmas with Matthew.
Those crazy holiday toys can scare the pe-geebies out kids. My kids were afraid of the Easter bunny for a couple of years.
God bless you, dear friend.
Hugs, JJ
I wish you also MERRY CHRISTMAS and a good and (a peaceful for all of us) New Year!
Thanks for the good friendship we had and will have also in the future, as long we are able to blog.:)
Big hug!

That is a nice letter to Santa. Funny you mention Reindeer as, just when you were writing your comment to me, we were posting about reindeer. If you get a chance to come back and see, please do.
I thank you for your visits this year and funny but you are still one of our original readers. I am glad to see you still come by. I know how busy it can be for everyone as my mom is super busy too.
Matthew is a beautiful baby and you are very blessed. He will grow up to be a handsome little boy and already is!
Merry Christmas to you and your family, and look forward to seeing more of your posts and photos in 2009!

Yeah me too, I push all the buttons in the toy stores too, and then run. One time I turn all the frogs on, boy it was amazing to hear them sing all together, lol, I guess I am paying for it now, lol.

It's easy to scare little ones with things we take for granted. Even though we had read stories about Halloween and costumes to our daughter, she was scared to death when we took her out on Halloween afternoon and she saw first-hand, all those AWFUL MONSTERS! She hid her head and we had a lot of explaining to do!
As for blogging friends, you're the best! I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.
Every blessing to you and your family, Anna. And yes, Matthew IS adorable!

I hope you receive this “letter” before New Years….I want to thank you for the kind “letters” you leave in my post…your smile is genuine and your words kind…your letters are in fact for me
Like a cool drink of water when you're worn out and weary is a letter from a long-lost friend.
