On May 7, 2008 3:11 pm EST my little miracle arrived - my baby Matthew Domenic. Its been while since I posted here or visited my blogger friends, but now you know what became a priority in my life. My baby Matthew changed my life, a life that it was hard to imagine - a beautiful life. It is such a blessing to nurse him, hug him, kiss him and just be with him every day. Matthew is now more than 6 weeks. It was so interesting to see him developing in those few weeks, growing, starting to notice us, observing around, and now smiling. He is a real character. He is not afraid to use his nice set of lungs if comes to food. Sometimes he is cranky, and this is where we start to run feeding and walking marathon to keep him content - and we just love it. I guess now I will have lots to blob about on my Story Blob blog, lol, but I tell you my 9 months of pregnancy, 6 weeks of taking care of Matthew and more to go been just amazing and is going to be amazing - I know there will be ups and downs, but that is life and I am ready for that ride. Not to forget one more thing, I am very thankful for such a great husband who been taking care of both of us, feeding and letting us sleep. I tell you, I wouldn't be able to do that alone, there were days when Matthew cluster fed, and I would practically be sitting in the feeding chair for hours.

It is also hard to believe that it will be almost a year of me blogging - June 29th. I am so glad that I started to blog last year, I picked up some good life experiences from each of you. I know that every one of us uses blog to show off our trades or hobbies, but deep down there is more, the appreciation, respect and friendship.

So what's next. Well the blogging does not ends here, just slows down. I have so much catching up, un-answered emails, un-answered posts and other stuff. The life is slowly normalizing, however, no system yet as Matthew is different every day, we just don't know what to expect, lol, but, but I will be getting back to my photography and blogging soon. As Matthew is more receptive, we should be able to take short hiking trips and start to photograph nature again or everything else around.
On the closing note, I have more photos of the baby on Facebook, and never know may be you will finally meet the face behind this blog. Unfortunately you need facebook account and must be my friend in order to view my photos. However, not sure how I can provide link to you, so if any one knows, please let me know. Thanks.

I don't think anybody will begrudge some little gaps in posting. You obviously have more pressing priorities right now. Please give Matthew hugs & kisses from all of us (and try to get a little sleep, when you can),

Mind you, sport is usually a multi-player activity, so eventually he may need further assistance from a few more additions, perhaps!
Take Care,
Peter

I'm happy to see you. I haven't blogged in a few weeks myself, just getting back to it because my hubby and I are building a house!
I wish your family every blessing and happiness. What a wonderful surprise. Now you'll have this whole new mommy-life to blog about!
And yes, if we go below the surface, our blogging is a lot more than just sharing interests. It's about sharing friendship, our lives and dreams.
My best to you all.

Good luck with your house, nice project to have. We are joking with my husband recently, by the time Matthew grows up, we will have to get a new house, I guess no more stylish stuff around the house, lol, all baby stuff, and being tired at times, we tend to drop things on the floor, including food, lol. Lynda my friend thanks again for your comment, and I guess I found you on facebook, but that was Bob's fault, lol. Anna :)
